On the trails you never know what is around the next bend; what miracle of life you are about to experience. There are small and large challenges, as well as simple and intricate patterns that can set your mind alight with wonder and your muscles burning with exertion!

Hello and welcome to my site! I hope to take you on a journey of peace, joy, and imagination. I am Anita Hillsley and I have been an Artist in Colorado for over 30 years, currently residing in Fort Collins. The roots of Hillsley Art began when I was growing up in Michigan. My passion for patterns and designs played out in drawing elaborate plants and flowers that my cousin and I lovingly referred to as "Moon Flowers". I casually played with my techniques over the years as I pursued my love of teaching and education. Then, my life took an abrupt left turn with the passing of my long time partner and husband.
