This piece stems from a particularly painful part of my life as I struggle to survive the loss of my husband: my long-time best friend and life partner. It was inspired by the song "Burning House" by Cam.
"I've been sleep walking; been wandering all night. Try to take whats lost and broke and make it right. I've been sleep walking too close to the fire, but it's the only place that I can hold you tight..."
